I scrapped yesterday

I finally hit a groove and scrapped yesterday - these are the results of my labour :) Have another tournie for Poker tomorrow so I will probably be scarce this weekend again (late night lol). This scrap is Cassidy (lol as usual) -- it was her photographer debut where she took a pic of us with my Rebel. Had to scrap this pic again with just her and those gorgeous eyes. Look at this! What a sweetie

OK, honestly, I am not spotlighting this LO just because it uses my kit. In fact, I didn't even recognize my kit at first but of course was very happy to see it in use. This LO is a great one to show that pictures really can tell 1,000 words. There was no need for journaling, the title and pictures tell you everything you need to know. What a darling little girl to have shed her locks for such a great cause. I love how the LO has so many great pictures. I love how the ribbon / title draws you into them and how they are scattered rather than perfectly placed. The matting makes them stand out against the brightly patterned back and the use of elements here is perfect! Wondeful LO - fun and colorful with awesome pics! I found this scrapper - soniecat - when I was rectangle hunting and totally fell in love with her gallery -- and in particular, love love love this LO! The pics are absolutely adorable, all the blocking make this so fun to look at! The title jumps off the page at me and the journaling is wonderful! Need inspiration

OK, I need to customise this page with my own look and feel, but I am not inspired at all. Does anyone have any ideas - Obviously, would like to use something in my store - or even make a new kit, but just can't get started. Someone, please give me an idea! By the way, my freebie is still up if you scroll down, I will probably take it down today -- so if you haven't snatched it, now is the time!

I was double tagged

I was double tagged by Lorraine and Sarah D - So, I better get off my butt and respond: WHAT SCRAPBOOKING PRODUCTS DO YOU DISLIKE? I really don't know if there is anything I dislike -- well, I am not a big fan of slide mounts in kits I guess. I dunno, I just find them so BIG and they tend to overpower the tiny picture in them. WHAT IS THE HARDEST THING YOU'VE EVER HAD TO SCRAP? OK, considering I have been married a year and a half -- and I think I have scrapped like 5 pages of my album, I am gonna venture and say that my wedding it among the hard to get motivated to scrap I guess. WHAT TECHNIQUE DO YOU USE MORE THAN ANY OTHER? Well, i suck at graphic LOs/Blending - I would love to do some more of those, but in the absense of it, I guess my technique is really just lots of pretty colors and patterns. More of a paper feel to my LOs I guess. Course, I am well known for being rectangle - is that a technique? EVER BEEN PUBLISHED? Nope - well, I am published in the RAKFile (Rakscraps newsletter) every month -- but other than that, I have only submitted once. I think my issue is, when I do a LO, I wanna share with all right away and usually they want unpublished anywhere LOs.. Also, I am really Lazy and hate filling out forms. I would so love to be published though. Do they publish many rectangles? I couldn't even tell ya cus I don't think I have ever bought a scrap mag! WHAT IS THE SMALLEST SCRAP OF PAPER YOU SAVE? lol - zero since I don't paper scrap! EVER HAD ANY SCRAPBOOK-RELATED INJURIES? I have carpal tunnel - but work at a desk job all the time too - so who knows what caused it. FINISH THIS SENTENCE: "IF I WASN'T A SCRAPBOOKER, I WOULD SPEND MY MONEY ON... POKER!!!!!! GIVE US YOUR BEST STORAGE OR ORGANIZATIONAL IDEA: I am a mess, don't look to me for any ideas YOU JUST WON A WEEK-LONG SCRAPPING CRUISE FOR 4. WHO IS GOING WITH YOU? I dunno - who wants to come? Will there be a casino on the cruise? If so, my hubby -- but dunno if there would be much scrapping going on if there is poker around TAGS: OK - I need to think of my tags -- don't wanna always pick on the same people. Wow, time for my new sketch. (ok, i cheated and stole it from a LO I have already done) This sketch is all about simplicity and really focusing on the picture - or at least it was when I made my LO with it. Broncos lost :(

The Broncos lost -- our family is sad - we are huge Broncos fans (in fact, my husband showed up @ the alter in a Broncos Jersey!). Well, at least today is Monday and I will start working on a new sketch to put up for you guys -- and will announce a winner of last week's sketch challenge. Who knows, maybe I will even get around to scrapping. I also see I was tagged again, so I will have to post my answers to that! So, besides working today, I will have lots of things to keep my mind off the loss. Hey, plus, yesterday I won a small Poker tournie @ our house -- won $60!
