New Spotight - Trish - Something About Daniel

As soon as I saw this, I was intrigued! I love all the photos she got in here, she is really capturing the moments / movement and the personality of Daniel just shines through. Absolutely GORGEOUS -- everything is arranged beautifully! I think you will all agree

Spotlight - A Birth Story - aubero

The Digichick has a kewl challenge - It's a chick's life -- anyways -- this week's challenge is to scrap a birth story -- I saw this LO and really liked it. Has a uninque style to it -- I am not part of the challenge, but I think I may try my hand at doing Cassidy's birth story :) Will share when I am done!

Thanks for looking

new look

Found a kewl new template that supports 3 columns so thought I would give it a go -- the code seems so much cleaner then the blogger ones -- the link is in my kewl blogs section. Also realize -- can you CAP LOCK for caps hehe!

crash landing

man, i will be one handed for the next little while - no caps for me haha. i thought i would protect cassidy as she ventured into a spin down the stairs, so rushed up and caught her balance and then subsequently took a tumble myself. spent 5 hours in outpatience / xrays -- no break just bad sprain. fun fun eh? luckily it is left side so hopefully will still be able to get the kit i am working on finished -- it is a partner to shine and blush done in blues.

well i am off to go gallery surfing for some rectangles

Monday :) :)

Monday is sketch day -- woohoo! Working on a sketch now! Should have it up a little later and will also do the draw for the winner from last week :)

Saw a really cool altered album when I was @ a craft sale over the weekend-- I have always loved altered stuff -- but when I look at things, I feel like I could never do it. I am going to try this one I think -- It is made with Sport card Holders (Top Loaders). I used to be an avid sports card collector, so I am gonna dig through my supplies and see if I already have some handy. Of course, I like it, because it is rectangle ;) So, working on creating a little template and will see if I can put it together. I figure I can at least get 8 cards on a 8X10 sheet -- (maybe more on 8.5 X11) -- so I could get a nice album done for super cheap -- would be a great mother's day gift.

Also, I was surprised with how many people were scrappers for hire (paper of course). Is there much market for this I wonder. I love doing LOs, it would be fun to do them for other people. I dabbled in quick pages here and there, but I find, usually pictures inspire LOs -- so doing quickpages doesn't often cut it for most scrappers. Hey, if there is anyone ever interested in getting their photos scrapped by me with any of my kits-- let me know lol. Maybe we can strike up a deal ;)

Off to finish my sketch!
